Before we opened these doors three years ago, we spent twelve years running Mexican kitchens across Michigan, learning what makes a dining room feel welcoming and what keeps people coming back. Jalisco is where we put all of it into one place.
Our recipes are family recipes, the ones that were never written down, just taught. Salsas are made fresh in our kitchen each morning, guacamole is mashed when you order it, the carne asada hits a screaming hot grill, and the fajitas come out still sizzling because that's half the point. Real home flavor, nothing shortcut.
The room matters just as much. Papel picado runs wall to wall, the booths are carved by hand, and the lights stay low and warm. Order a Margarita Jalisco, a paloma or a cantarito and stay a while, because that's exactly what it was built for.
